You have to understand, what one blogger considers to be a successful blog, might be something totally different another blogger. It is all perspective of the individual. This is one of those questions that will have a different answer depending on who you ask.
For example: If you ask a blogger who has a personal blog, "what does having a successful blog mean to you?". He might say...
A successful blog, is a blog that is hosted for free. That allows me to post photos. Where I can write about the new things that are happening in my life. A place that my friends and family, no matter where they are, can type in my URL, arrive at my blog, and comment about the latest pictures that I have posted. That's what a successful blog is.
Or if you were to ask a high school student, "what does having a successful blog mean to you?" They might say...
To me a successful blog is a blog that lets me write anonymously about my personal hardships, music, school, bullies, my parents, teachers, friends, things that I love, things that I hate, sex, peer pressure, and what-ever else is on my mind that day. That is what a successful blog is.
However, if you were to ask me, "what does having a successful blog mean to you?" This is what I would say...
My idea of a successful blog is... A blog that I can edit and design just the way I'd like. That gets thousands of visitors a day. A place where I can write and post information for anyone in the world to read. It's a blog that I can monetize, sell products and personal ad space on, so that I could earn a comfortable living to support my family with.So as you can see, having a successful blog can mean a number of different things. I guess it just depends on who you ask.
It's a place where I can blog about the journey to become a successful full-time blogger!
