Some believe that linking to a blog that has a low PR (Page Rank) will lower the value of their own blog. However, people should not think this way about linking to other blogs.
Bloggers should be more concerned with giving their readers the most relevant information possible, if that means linking to an article on another blog, then they should just do it.
Now I'm not saying that bloggers shouldn't worry about SEO and Page Rank, you definitely should. But if you link to another blog, they might see that you are sending them a lot of traffic and link back to yours and this could bring you other loyal readers.
The more people that find your blog, the more links you will get pointing back to you as long as you are creating quality content.
So make sure to "Show Some Link Love" to your fellow bloggers.
