Free Advertising For Poor Bloggers

FYI: Today's post is just something funny that I thought of today. But if you want to take it literally, be my guest, because I think it could actually work.

Free Advertising For Poor Bloggers

Today I was reading a post on another blog, as I often do, and this guy was writing about how he was reading something on the back of a semi-truck and how some people write messages in the dirt with their finger.
Then it hit me...

What if... you were to write your blog's web address - with your finger - in the dirt - on the back of a semi truck. This is brilliant, right!

I mean think about it...

We live in a world full of technology, with all of the internet ready cell phones and laptops, people all over the country would see your blog's URL and be able to visit your blog right then and there. You know that people would be sitting there bored and wondering... (The Passengers not the drivers)

Hmmm... Why would somebody put that on a semi? I've got to find out.

Then they pull out their iphone, laptop or whatever they use, and type it in. That's what I call... Getting traffic from traffic, literally.

I'll tell you what - I am going to try out this little experiment. The next dirty semi-truck that I see, I will write my URL in the dirt with my finger www.i-blogger.info - Then, I'll keep a close eye on my stats to see if I get a spike in "Direct Visits" to my blog.

I'll let you know what happens!

So there you have it, that's my "Free Advertising For Poor Bloggers" idea. I hoped you enjoyed reading it as much as I liked writing it.

Remember, to try have fun with your blog readers every once in a while too! Blogging for hours a day can sometimes get old. It's good to break up the monotony with something that you don't normally do.

Not a bad idea, but it would have to be pretty big to be visible.

I also think it's good idea. When I live in Jakarta, I often see the 'web address/blog' is written on the back of a semi truck/ truck/ minibus, etc.

it's also good idea ....
