Creating new content is one of the most important steps to building a useful blog.

For instance, if you were starting a blog about bicycles, your first week of posts might look something like this.
Example:
- Day 1: Introduce you and your blog; tell readers what it's about.
- Day 2: Blog about your favorite kind of bikes.
- Day 3: You could blog about the best kind of tires for racing.
- Day 4: Blog about the best tires for mountain bikes.
- Day 5: Tell your readers one of your favorite places to go biking.
- Day 6: Write a post about a good bike manufacture.
- Day 7: Your post could be about when the first bike was invented.
Another thing you want to remember when planning your weekly posts is, at least 2 of your blog posts for the week should be much longer than the rest, these are called pillar aricles. You don't want all of your blog posts to be only 1 paragraph long. However if you do post to your blog everyday, a few of your posts can be just simple tips.
Posting something new to your blog everyday, even if it's just a quick tip, tells the search engines that you update your blog often. Search engines love up-to-date information.
How often do you post to your blog? Tell me in a comment.
