Having an email list allows you to decide what information to send them and what products you are going to offer. The great thing about this is, you know that the people on your list are most likely interested in the types of things that you have available,

However, when have a list you want to build a good relationship with them, you want them to feel like you are someone that they can trust.
What Not To Do With Your List
- Never spam your email list
- Do not send them pointless information
- Never offer them a product that you wouldn't purchase yourself
- Don't send them product offers too often
You never want to make somebody regret giving you there email address, make them be glad that they did. When you do send them a product offer, make it something that they are going to appreciate. If you do send them something that they like, the next time they will be more likely to buy.
Your list may not buy everything that you offer them, but the ones that do are going to be more likely to purchase something in the future. The people that do make a purchases, you can take and make another list with just those people, you can call it your "Preferred Customers List" or something like that.
Just make sure that you play your cards right and you can build a nice stream of income this way.
