Google AdSense is one of the best tools a blogger could ask for. Bloggers everywhere are using AdSense to monetize their blogs. Using it the right way can earn you a lot of extra money. However, if you aren't using AdSense the right way you are missing out on a lot of potential income.

Earning money with Google AdSense can be quick and easy. Usually by making just a few small changes, you can get big results in a short amount of time.
The first thing you can do to start earning more money with AdSense, is to produce a lot of good content that is loaded with profitable keywords. Some people out there are naturally great at doing this. If you're not one of these people don't worry, there are a couple of tips below that will help you out.
How To Earn More Money From AdSense
- Find the most popular keywords for your blogs topic. Choose the ones that you think would work best for your blog. To help you do this, you can use a keyword suggestion tool to find the most profitable keywords for those particular topics. A great keyword suggestion tool that I like to use is Keyword Spy. Keyword Spy can even tell you how many other blogs are using those same keywords.
- Then start writing posts with original content and the keywords from the topics that you have found in your search. Keep in mind that search engines take pride in the quality of the content that they are providing in their search results. So the articles that you write should meet their standards to get top rankings.
- Choose colors for your AdSense that match your text and links on your blog. If your AdSense ads match the look of your blog, people are going to be more likely to click on them.
- When deciding where to place your AdSense ads. Try to position your ads where your blog's visitors are most likely to going to see them. Some have said, that one of the first places that people look when visiting a website or blog is the top left side of the web page.
Some people that are just starting out using AdSense, might think that if visitors are clicking on their ads they must doing well. However, there are a lot of different techniques and styles to help you generate more clicks that can dramatically boost your AdSense earnings. By learning these techniques and using them correctly, you will get more people clicking on your ads.
AdSense has some excellent tracking statistics that will allow you to see which styles and colors are working best for your blog. Make sure you are taking advantage of these statistics because that is how you will become more successful with the AdSense Program.
- Another thing to remember is that banners and skyscrapers do not perform as good as they use to. When I am surfing the web, I normally ignore these types of ad formats. People automatically recognize these as advertisements and nobody visits a blog to click ads. So the more you can make your AdSense ads blend into your content, the better you will do. Just make sure that you are not being deceiving. That is a big no no for the Google AdSense program and it will get you banned for life.
- I have found that the best ad format to use is the larger squares. I am not sure why exactly, but a lot of bloggers and webmasters say the same thing. So I say to stick with what is working. However if you feel like a different format would work better, then you should definitely give it a shot.
However, don't think that placing a bunch of AdSense ads on your site is the way to earn money. You don't want to cluster up your blog by putting AdSense everywhere, your ads should look like they belong there.
When your testing something new, monitor your results and most of all be patient. You're not going to get rich overnight, but if you experiment with different colors and ad formats, you will soon discover what works best for your blog.
